Accommodation :-  Barnham Brooms Spa Hotel, Norwich

Barnham Broom overlooks 300 acres of beautiful Norfolk countryside with 46 contemporary bedrooms  and is best known for its two contrasting golf courses surrounding the River Yare Valley. The Spa at Barnham Broom, is also a wonderful place to relax and unwind, offering a complete range of professional treatments
We shall play both courses, one on the Friday and the other on the Sunday.

On the Saturday, golfers will set off for the coast to play the Channel Cup on the exclusive Royal Cromer club.  Originally designed by Old Tom Morris and sits proudly amongst the top 100 courses in England. It is essentially cliff top in character with spectacular views and boasts all the features of a coastal course with a wealth of sandy hills, grassy valleys and abundant gorse and bracken. After an innocuous opening the round gradually cranks up and finishes strongly, starting from the signature 14th hole complete with a fully operational lighthouse to the side of the green. Turnberry eat your heart out…

Non golfers have an embarrassment of choice – enjoying birdwatching in one of the many nature reserves, boating on the Norfolk Broads, or soaking up the history of the fine Norman monuments of the Castle and the Cathedral
