Coupe du Printemps 2017, Opio, French Riviera               Friday/Sunday March 24-26

Friday March 24

Tee Offs from 12h00 on the Golf de St. Donat www.golfsaintdonat.com

The course, designed by R Trent Jones, is 10 km from Cannes, and rated among the top 50 in Europe.

Dinner commencing around 20h in the Château de La Bégude

Saturday March 25

Coupe du Printemps Formula :- Individual Stableford 

Tee Offs from 10h00 at the odiferous  La Bastide course, designed by Cabell Robinson, and offering superb views over Grasse and the provençal countryside ; this will prove a delight  for golfers and accompagnatrices alike.

Spouses’ programme on Saturday

Depart hotel  9h30 – visit the historic centre  Opio and the perfume town of Grasse

Prize giving and cocktail in hotel from 19h   Dinner commencing around 20h00h

Sunday 26 March

Tee Offs at 8H30 via a shotgun on the Opio course adjacent to the hotel, designed by D. Haradine and opened in 1966. Formula:- Greensome,.

13h00 Lunch in the Clubhouse & Farewells

April Match against HEC to be decided

Matchplay : Shotgun start at 8h45

 

Friday May 26th      Salamander Cup, Golf de Fontainebleau,

12h00 – 13h30 Tee Off’s Individual Stableford.

Lunch box provided, & remember to observe the dress code

18h30 Lanson Champagne cocktail & 19h00 Prize Giving

Palazzo Arzaga a magnificent 15th century mansion which has been carefully restored as a five star hotel.
Nestling in the hills overlooking Lake Garda and some ten minutes south, the estate is surrounded by two golf courses, one of which is designed by Jack Nicklaus II and the other by Gary Player.
